My hubby was gone all day today on a job that required another "man" to help him, so guess what, I got to stay home and work in the office today. And guess what......I'm all caught up on our business paperwork so I moved over to my "other" business and worked hard at creating another card for today! I always hate to miss Margaret Moody's sketch challenges over at Pals Paper Arts. I had lots of fun with this one:

This card does not require much stamping as you can see here:

The only stamping I used was a sentiment from "Delightful Dozen" and the image tucked behind my sentiment from "Always Elegant". My little "gift packages" were created with the "1" Square Punch", the "1 1/4" Punch" and the "Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch":

I used the "Blossom Triple Layer Punch" to outline my "Very Vanilla Cardstock" layer:

Notice the little bit of shimmer on the "Real Red Cardstock" piece"? I embossed the panel with the "Snow Burst Textured Impressions Folder" and then followed that by spraying some "Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint" mixed with rubbing alcohol. It takes about 12 drops of paint to each 1 oz. of rubbing alcohol. Mix in a small spray bottle and spray on your cardstock. It dries quickly due to the rubber alcohol content.

Card Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Real Red, Wild Wasabi
  • DSP: Holly Berry Bouquet
  • Tools: Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, 1" Square Punch, 1 1/4" Square Punch, Snow Burst Textured Impressions Folder, Big Shot Machine, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Stamps: Delightful Dozen, Always Elegant
  • Inks: Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso
  • Accessories: Pearl Jewels, 1/2" Chantilly Crochet Trim Ribbon
I hope you all have a great weekend. It has been spitting snow here in northern Maine!
