What was I thinking? Well, I was cleaning out and organizing some of my kitchen drawers one day and had way too many wooden spoons. As I held one in my hand, I thought...hmmmm...wonder how I could decorate this bugger. Look and see for yourself:

I used the Wide Oval Punch and Rose Red Cardstock and cut (1). I added Sticky Strip to the back of the oval shape and gathered some Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon and made a ruffle.

I then stamped the flower image from the Fruit & Flowers Stamp Set, to resemble a sunflower in Daffodil Delight Ink and hand-cut. I added a tiny Pearl Jewel to each petal:

I created the 2 little tags with the Jewelry Punch, Pearl Jewels and the Tiny Tags Stamp Set. I threaded a white thread through both tags with a needle and tied a knot at the end of my thread. I then added a Glimmer Brad through the string and inserted the brad in the center of my flower. I then glued the flower with a Stampin' Dimensional to the center of my oval. Instead of allowing the tags to dangle freely, I cut a Stampin' Dimensional in half and added a 1/2 piece to each tag and glued them both to the spoon. Complete by adding a sliver of Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon around the handle and tied in a double knot!
