This week was the 2nd month of our Big Shot Club meeting.  As I explained last month, we create 2-3 projects using as many dies as possible so the girls get to use all of my dies. I'm spoiled in that I own them all!

For the first project I had the girls create this card:

We used 4 different dies for this card:
  • Sweetest Stem Embosslit Die
  • Scallop Envelope
  • Floral Fusion Die
  • Little Leaves Die

Other Supplies Used:
  • Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake
  • DSP: Brights Patterns Paper Pack
  • Accessories: Brads, Grosgrain Ribbon
  • Tools: Modern Label Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
  • Inks: Chocolate Chip
Did you know that the Scallop Envelope Die serves many, many uses? Cut 2, glue them together to form a skinny box. Cut 3, glue them together to form a triangle box. Cut 4, glue them together to form a square box. You can keep adding and creating larger boxes. All you need to do to finish is trace the bottom, cut out 2 pieces and glue one on the inside and one on the outside of your flaps for your box bottoms!

Project 2:

This is a small box using 6 Big Shot items:
  • Top Note Die
  • Matchbox Die
  • Leaves #2 Die
  • Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder
  • Ovals Die
  • Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Folder

In order to make this box sturdy, we cut the Top Note Die 4 times, 2 out of cardstock and 2 out of  cardboard from a DSP package. Glue the cardstock to the cardboard to make 1 lid and 1 box bottom:

Other Supplies Used:
  • Cardstock: Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
  • Tools: Sponge Dauber, 1/4" Hand Hold Hole Punch, Brayer
  • Inks: Chocolate Chip
  • Accessories: Pearl Jewels, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
