It rains a lot in these mountains.
Today we were talking to our neighbors and they confirmed that we had over 20" of rain during the month of July!
Weather changes quickly in the mountains and this morning I caught the clouds hanging low after the midnight rain.
I never get tired of this view.
Where the wind was still yesterday, today it is lightly sweeping the low hanging clouds across the sky.
More rain in the forecast? I wish I could stay for it. We are packing up and heading home in a bit. It will be a couple of weeks until we can return.
I wonder how much will have changed in the next two weeks?
I look forward to finding out!
The mystery top has been sewn into rows.
I'm pinning and matching, pinning and matching, pinning some more and sewing rows together. I didn't get it finished this weekend, but am happy with the progress made while here.
