I wanted to make a "Punch Art" card and I wanted to create my own version of a turkey.This is what I came up with:
Isn't he cute? Looks like he's struttin' around showing off his colors! I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool on the scallops and sponged Early Espresso Ink on the edges. Do you like the way he is holding the "Happy Thanksgiving" with his beak?
Punches used:
- Body: 1 3/4" Circle Punch in Early Espresso Cardstock and sponged on the edges with Early Espresso Ink.
- Head: Small Oval Punch in Early Espresso Cardstock and sponged on the edges with Early Espresso Ink.
- Eyes: Punch Pack (circle) in Whisper White, Owl Punch in Early Espresso for the pupils.
- Beak: Hand-cut in Tangerine Tango and sponged on the edges with Early Espresso Ink.
- Wattle: Blossom Punch in Riding Hood Red Cardstock and sponged on the edges with Early Espresso Ink.
- Feathers: 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch in Riding Hood Red, More Mustard, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and sponged on the edges with Early Espresso Ink.
- Feet: Snowflake Punch in More Mustard and sponged on the edges with Early Espresso Ink.
- Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Whisper White
- DSP: Spice Cake
- Tools: Big Shot Machine, Houndstooth Textured Impressions Folder, Tasteful Trim Die, Stampin' Dimensionals, Word Window Punch, Sponge Daubers
