I was in the mood for butterflies this morning. It's hard to believe just 2 weeks ago, we had snow covering our yard and today it was warm enough for butterflies! Even though my butterflies are black, the color is so striking against the Cherry Cobbler & More Mustard. Where did this color combo come from? Well, come visit Create with Connie & Mary and you'll see!

My Card:

Close-up of my card. You will notice that my stamped image is stamped with VersaMark Ink and sprinkled with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder and set with my Heat Tool. I then used a Sponge Dauber and  More Mustard Ink and sponged over the embossing. The embossing "resists" the ink:

We have so much fun at Create with Connie & Mary. Each week we feature either a sketch challenge or a color challenge. When I look back to years ago when I started stamping, I've come a long way. Stampin' Up! offers such a variety of tools, embellishments and colors to play with that makes everything "match" and makes it so much easier to create something beautiful .Where else can you find paper, inks and Designer Paper that co-ordinate so well together?

Don't forget to go view the Design Team submissions......you won't be disappointed!
