We filled up our hours with a Cathedral Stars Workshop, and all of the fun that goes along with it.
From four patches to half square triangles to long tall star points ala the tri-recs rulers – we did it all and had a ball!
I love this workshop for easing people into the realm of scrappy.
My quilt has 3 pieces of planned yardage – the half square triangles are just one black and one red. My setting triangles are the same black…..YES! Bonnie DOES do yardage quilts! The star points and the border ore the SAME blue. The only place that I go scrappy in this quilt is in the 4 patches and it is a great way to wet your feet and see now you like playing with the little jewels that sparkle behind the stars along with the larger pieces of yardage.
