Our Split Nine Patch workshop was held yesterday at Cotton & Chocolate Quilt Co!
They had kindly offered up their space to the quilters of the Conejo Valley even though they were closed for business due to the President’s Day holiday.
Isn’t that just super?
We filled up the four hours of this half day workshop with as much scrappy fun as possible.
We concentrated on things like cutting from the BEGINNING – including strips and where to place the lines on the ruler on the fabric to be sure you are getting the full strip width you desire.
We worked with specialty rulers with our strips, and then fine tuned our machines so that the seam was working as it should to give us the unit size we need for these little fun blocks to come together.
