Good Morning Stampers! I have a rather long post for you today and I apologize for being a little late with Paper Pumpkin for last month. If you've been visiting my blog, you know that I belong to a group called the "Paper Pumpkin Gurus". There are 10 of us Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and we each submit an exclusive project for our Paper Pumpkin Subscribers only. How lucky for our subscribers that they are emailed 7-10 projects each month with PDF step-by-step directions. We compile all of our projects into one document and it's pretty exciting. I can't show you what I made for my exclusive project except for these "Sneak Peeks" but I'll show you what else I did with my box of goodies a little further down.

For those of you not familiar with Paper Pumpkin....it's a little red box that shows up in your mailbox once a month once you subscribe. Included in the box is EVERYTHING you need but the adhesive:

For March we received ALL of these stamps, a Basic Black Stampin' Spot Ink Pad, directions....

......9 cards, Stampin' Dimensionals, Epoxy Stickers, and Envelopes which I forgot to include in the photo below:

We also received some yellow twine and a needle so you can cross-stitch the pre-punched holes. In the sample below, I stamped the "Happy Birthday To" and am getting ready to cross-stitch:

These are all of the cards I made minus one that was used for the "Exclusive Project" for my Subscribers:

The first thing that popped into my head was to create a small goodie holder:

Fold the card base in half on the score line. Push the two ends into the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and punch the shape. Use your scissors to remove the two tabs on each side:

Open up the card base and add a score line 1" away on each side of the score line. Fold as shown above. Add A ribbon at the top and insert a goodie on the inside!

The card below was cut in half for a one-layer card. I used the other half on another card later:

I trimmed it down to a size of 4-34" x 3-14", and you can add a gift card on the back and slide it into the coordinating envelope that came with the kit. I rounded the corners with the PL Corner Punch. I added a Decorative Label Punch shape folded in half at the top and glued. I added 3 layers of cardstock punched with the Spiral Border Punch.

For the next project, I used a Stampin' Write Marker instead of cross-stitching with twine. I also cut one of the polka dot cards in half to use on another card you'll see later:

Here's a close-up. All I did was use a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker and joined the holes to create faux stitching:

I did a little something different for the next two cards. Can you spot what I did?

I used an Exacto Knife to cut the letters out. My cuts went from hole to hole as you can see in the photo below:

I used the cardstock layer with the cut-out holes on the first card you saw above and added a piece of Tempting Turquoise Cardstock peeking through the holes.

I used the cut out letters only on this next card:

This is a "Joy Fold" card that I created using Real Red Cardstock. The polka dot layer is from the earlier polka dotted card. I folded it in half to use for my joy fold. Once folded, I cut it to measure 3" wide by snipping both ends with my paper cutter. The Real Red layer measures 4-1/2" x 6-1/4". I scored at 2" and folded. The polka dot layer is glued under the 2" flap to open in the opposite direction.

The card below is pretty neat because the word "HELLO" fits perfectly in the white stripes from the card base. I stamped repeatedly until all the white stripes were filled. On a separate piece of Whisper White Cardstock, I stamped the bubble image with the word "HELLO" on the inside of the bubble and hand-cut the shape. I repeated this three times to glue to my card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. The ink color I used was Melon Mambo:

For the card below, I again used a Stampin' Write Marker to create "X's" for faux cross-stitching this time. I also sponged on the white stripes from dark to light. The ink color used with Rich Razzleberry with the ink pad and the Stampin' Write Marker:

I really like my Pink Pirouette Card below:

I added some flowers using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and this time I used a Pink Pirouette Stampin' Write Marker to color in the word:

Only a few more to go....thanks for your patience! The card below was completed per the kit instructions except I added a Lost Lagoon Cardstock butterfly that I cut with the Butterfly Framelits Dies and added a twine bow in the center:

For my final card, I used one of the half pieces and cut it in half again to create two panels to use for layering:

I also used a piece of Basic Black Cardstock cut at 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" to place behind the holes. The black peeks through:

All you need to do is trim the corners once it is glued on the back:
