Hi Stampers and welcome to a new question for my "Dear Debbie" series. If you've missed my previous posts, you can find them all here:

I'm having so much fun with these posts. As I've mentioned before, my Downline Linda S. is the one that suggested this idea to me one day. She thought it would be a good idea for me to share the wealth of information from all the years and experience in paper crafting and stamping with you!

For today's post, I was actually speaking with Linda on the phone a few weeks ago about business and she wanted me to share how to use Stampin' Spritzer's. These are the Stampin' Up! Spritzer's I am referring to:

Linda's question was mostly geared to using these with water vs. rubbing alcohol. The photo below shows how I have all of my individual ink colors mixed and labeled with each Stampin' Up! ink color:

And here is a card sample where I placed a stencil on the front of my card and spritzed the color. The spritzer makes is so simple & quick:

The correct answer is that you can use both when mixing your colors. Water or Rubbing Alcohol. Why would I use one over the other? The only answer for me is that when using water, it takes much longer to dry and may sometimes warp your cardstock, of course depending on how much you spray. With rubbing alcohol, the drying time is pretty much cut in half. That's my only reason for preferring alcohol over water.

How do I mix mine? I fill the Spritzer with rubbing alcohol about 3/4 full and then add about 10 drops of re-inker. If you prefer a darker shade add more or a lighter shade add less. Allow your ink to dry between coats if you decide you need to spritz a second time. Thanks Linda for my question this week and if you have a product, technique or any general stamping question, please feel free to email me or leave a comment here on my blog!

Thanks for stopping by to visit me today!
