A few weeks ago, I asked and challenged my Downline on my team to participating in a "Berry Basket Challege". For those that accepted (can you believe 10!), I mailed them all the pieces cut with the Berry Basket Die and gave them about 2 weeks to get their projects completed. All of the boxes that I sent them were all the same color of Smoky Slate Cardstock and I told them to assemble and decorate them as they wished. I created one also that I will show you at the end. It was exciting to see all the different ideas!
Mary Ann went with St. Patrick's Day. I even spy little gold coins at the end of the rainbow and the little flowers are so beautiful on the swag!
Allison has a cute and adorable Easter theme going on with her box. She even added a bunny tail and the flowers on the front are just beautiful!
And what about Linda's vintage styled box? The doily's look fabulous and I can see packaging this with soaps and toiletries! What a great gift idea!
Vicki has a 5 year old granddaughter who would just love this little Easter treat box, especially with all of the candies! Great coloring of the stamped images Vicki!
Who wouldn't love to receive this berry basket full of punch art strawberries and coordinating strawberry candies by Dawn! Dawn was telling me how difficult it was to find these candies!
Janet works in a law office that handles real estate closings. What a great idea to include thank you cards inside the box to keep on hand at her place of business! And the little houses are perfect!
What a beautiful color combination Deloris used on her berry basket. Her bow is fabulous and love the weaving of the cardstock and designer paper plus the addition of the handle!
Dottie added some fantastic punch art to her basket. Wouldn't this make a great Easter basket to give to your child or grandchild? And the lace doily on the front really adds to her basket!
Norma is an expert when it comes to flowers and she did not disappoint with this basket full of flowers. I am so ready for spring after seeing this beauty! So pretty how she tucked the butterflies in the mix!
Sue was clever and made a coordinating card for her basket. Love that she used the Painted Blooms Designer Paper on both and such a cute bow on her basket!
And this is my very own Berry Basket. My granddaughter will be celebrating her 7th birthday on Saturday. She LOVES jelly bellies jelly beans and her birthday party theme is a "luau" so I added grasses at the bottom cut with my Fringe Scissors. I thought I would add this to her gifts.
I stacked the flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals in-between 3 layers and added a button in the center. I added a 2nd flower to the top of the goodie bag with a Mini Clothespin:
Thanks so much to my girls who participated in this challenge. Job well done! Won't you join in on the fun by joining my team? I would love to have you. Here's where you join:
