Yay, it's our January Blog Hop for the Control Freaks! And this month is all about "LOVE".

You may have arrived here from Judi DiSipio's blog. Did you feel the love when viewing her projects? I surely did! For my projects this month, I used the "Groovy Love and Peace, Love & Cupcakes" stamp sets for my projects and some new goodies from the Occasions Catalog. Here's my lineup of projects:

For my first card, I made a shaker card with the tiny stamp image "love" that I cut out with my 1/2" Circle Punch. I added Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of each heart and did not remove the backing so they don't lay completely flat in the shaker window. I also added some sequins in there too. The Happy Heart Embossing Folder and Hello You Thinlits Dies are so gorgeous aren't they? And what about the cute bow made with the Bow Builder Punch?

For Card #2, I used the same embossing folder:

I added a little bit of bling with the Sahara Sand Lace Trim and the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim

For my last card, I used Chalkboard Paper and Aquamarine Chalk Ink:

This card is simple but the addition of the chalkboard ink for the background really adds a distinctive design doesn't it? I added Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim to this card also. I used the Stapler this time to attach it to the heart!
