Have you seen this little cutie patootie from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. Now how cute is that? It's also a solo stamp set....all by itself!

And now on to my card for today using the "Baby Bumblebee" stamp:

I used the Circle Card Thinlits Die to cut out the card shape. I actually extended the tab on the end that you'll see in the photo below this one. This is what the card looks like when standing:

And now for the surprise...the extended tab on the end has a pocket for a bookmark! What a great way to present a card to someone have a baby by including a bookmark to use for their first baby book:

The bookmark fits into the pocket and slides out:

I added stamped hearts on the bookmark without any wording or sentiments. And here is the card in the closed position again:

I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock piece measuring 5-1/2" x 10-3/4" and this is how I positioned my cardstock in the die to be cut with the Big Shot Machine (sorry about the fluorescent lighting in my Big Shot area):

The die is sitting upside-down (cutting edge up) and I slid the cardstock under the metal cutting side on the right. Make sure everything is perfectly lined-up on the inside of the die. Once you cut the card shape, you will see an indentation that is slightly visible that the die made where the cardstock sat under the die. Use that indentation as a guide to create a score line. If you can't see the indentation, measure 5" from the edge that has not been cut by the die and score. You will also need a 2nd score line 2-1/2" from the same edge.

Using the 2-1/2" score line you will now be creating a pocket for your bookmark. Cut on the score line 3-1/2" from the top down (this will leave a 2" piece on the bottom). Turn your cardstock and cut across to meet the cut and remove that section. Add a very thin line of multipurpose glue on the bottom edge and the side edge, fold the little tab that you created over and press in place. NOTE: If you want to add a piece of designer paper like I did, glue that in place before you glue the tab in place for the pocket.

Designer Paper for pocket: 5-1/4" x 2-1/8"
Whisper White for pocket: 2-1/8" x 1-3/4"
Designer Paper for back flap: 5-1/4" x 2-1/8"
