I have a really neat project to show you today. And this project was made using the "Large Kraft Journal" found in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. Some items can be easily missed when perusing the catalog and I believe this is one of them.
This Kraft Journal is the perfect size to tag along with you, measuring 5" x 8-/4". It comes with grid-lined paper on the inside and was just begging to be decorated. See what I did with mine?
I started out by using the Hearts Confetti Border Punch on the edge and glued a piece of Strawberry Slush Cardstock on the inside of the cover. I like how the color peeks through the punched hearts:
For the stamped images, I started out by stamping 5 of the lace flowers from the Petal Potpourri stamp set using Strawberry Slush Ink and Whisper White Cardstock. I cut all of the flowers using the Flower Medallion Punch. I glued my flowers vertically and trimmed the two on the ends:
I then added a strip of White Jute Ribbon followed by a strip of Blackberry Bliss 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon. My 2nd row of flowers were stamped with Pool Party Ink and the center stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink and cut out with the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I added Pearl Jewels in the center of all 3 flowers. These flowers were glued with Stampin' Dimensionals.
