Stampin' 411 and a Snow Day!

Yup.......you read that correctly.....Snow Day for us here! We are getting somewhat hammered with snow in Maine. I caught up on our business paperwork this morning and then decided to play. I checked out the Stampin' 411 site and this is their sketch challenge for this week:

I've seen these cute little gingerbread people all over blogland and wanted to create one of my own. What a quick way to create him:


The gingerbread person is made with the "Fancy Flower Punch" and "Soft Suede Cardstock". I used my "Signo White Gel Pen" to make squiggly lines around the edge and to draw the mouth. The eyes come from "Basic Black Cardstock" and the "Owl Punch". Check out the bling for his buttons and a close-up of the ones on the photo below:

I used a red permanent marker and colored my "Rhinestone Jewels". You can color the "Rhinestone Jewels" any color you wish using permanent markers. I've also used them on the "Pearl Jewels". Don't forget to keep scrolling as I have another post earlier today. Have a great day!
