Here is my little treat for today's challenge:

Of course we are in the Occasions Mini Catalog Subscription so of course I used items from the new catalog for you today. I started out with a box cut from my Big Shot Machine and the Fancy Favor Box Die in Riding Hood Red Textured Cardstock. Don't you think the little typewriter image from You're My Type Stamp Set is adorable? Six different sentiments are included and you can "type" whatever you want on the sheet of paper. I even cut out a separate sheet of paper and plopped it up to look like it is coming out from the typewriter!

I also added a brad to the sheet of paper from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. The corners of my Whisper White Cardstock were cut with the Ticket Corner Punch. I then layer over a piece of Baja Breeze Cardstock and glued to the front of my box.

What about the foot of my box?

If you look closely, I used Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon that was scrunched. Easy! Add a piece of Sticky Strip around the bottom of the whole box. When scrunching your ribbon, start out by pulling a few threads from the center of the end of your ribbon, as you pull the thread, push the ribbon  in the opposite direction and it automatically scrunches for you. When your ribbon is long enough to go around the whole box, snip if off and glue it in place.

The doily around the base is created with Basic Black Cardstock and the new Paper Doily Large Sizzlits Die. I then glued the doily to a scallop that I cut out with my Scallop Circle #2 Die. Glue to bottom of box.

Box Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red Textured
  • Inks: Jet Black StazOn, Riding Hood Red
