Good morning blog readers. How are you coming along on Holiday preparations? I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. I have everything purchased to start my holiday cooking and my recipe list all ready to go. My family travels 2 hours north to my parents for Christmas day and I bring all the "sweets" for the occasion. My sister Cheryl cooks the turkey and my brother Roger brings the ham. It makes things a lot easier for my mom when all she has to worry about is the potatoes, vegetables, gravy and the little additions. Last year there were 38 of us and we've added 3 more babies to the family this year. This is going to be the last year my parents will be in their home as they are aging and the house is just too big for them to take care of any longer. They will be moving to a senior housing sometime this summer so this will be the last big family get-together for Christmas. So sad.
Today I have another simple card for you:
How cute to use the "Pennant Punch" to make a little Christmas tree:
I also added a "Red Glimmer Paper" heart punched with the "Small Heart Punch". The sentiment is from "Delightful Dozen" and the background layer is embossed with the "Finial Press Textured Impressions Folder.
Card Supplies:
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso, Confetti White, Red Glimmer Paper
Inks: Early Espresso, Real Red
Tools: Big Shot Machine, Finial Press Textured Impressions Folder, Small Heart Punch, Pennant Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Corner Rounder Punch
