My Big Shot Club girls made 3 projects this month. As I've stated before, I try to incorporate as many Big Shot dies and folders as I possibly can so that they can see the different uses for them other than the ordinary. This month was no exception.

Project 1:

Turn the Holiday Stocking Die into a Baby Bootie card:

Fold your cardstock in half and place the fold inside about 1/2" from the top cutting line so that the bootie cuts shorter. I used So Saffron Cardstock. Cut 2 of each remaining piece and emboss all of them with the Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder. Use a Sponge Dauber and rub the embossing with White Craft  Ink:

I showed the girls how to "ruffle" ribbon using Sticky Strip and Satin Ribbon.  Below is a close-up of the Grosgrain Ribbon bow and the small tags punched with the Jewelry Tag Punch. I added small flowers to each tag punched with the Punch Pack, glued in place and I added a small Pearl Jewel to each flower:

Baby Bootie Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Whisper White, So Saffron
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder, Holiday Stocking Die, Jewelry Tag Punch, Punch Pack, Sticky Strip, Scallop Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sponge Daubers, Mini Glue Dots
  • Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon, Satin Ribbon, Pearl Jewels
  • Inks: Daffodil Delight, Craft White
  • Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Tagtastic
  • Misc: Safety Pin
Project 2:

Create an ornament with the Lattice Die:

Cute huh? Cut 4, score in half diagonally all 4 pieces and glue half pieces at a time until all 4 form the ornament. Before gluing the 4th piece, lay a piece of string in the center that has a loop tied at the top:

Ornament Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Whisper White
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Lattice Die, Tombow Mono-adhesive Glue
  • Misc: String
Project 3:

Using Cork with the Big Shot Machine:

Did you know Stampin' Up! sells Cork in the Idea Book & Catalog? Yes we do! And you can easily cut through it with the Big Shot Machine. For this card we used the Beautiful Butterflies Die:

And do you know what else you can do on cork? Stamp! We sponged Early Espresso Ink on the edges of the butterfly and stamped an image in the center from the Day of Gratitude Stamp Set.

Card Supplies:
  • Stamps: Day of Gratitude, Perfectly Penned
  • DSP: Brights Patterns Paper Pack
  • Cardstock: Lucky Limeade, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Early Espresso
  • Inks: Early Espresso
  • Accessories: Cork, Rhinestone Jewels
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Folder, Beautiful Butterflies Die, Sponge Dauber, Brayer
We always have a good time at our Club Nights and I always look forward to meeting with the girls. If you are interested in forming a club of your own, send me a note or call! Enjoy your day!
