I have two tips to discuss with you today that I used in my card for today.

I have two nice little handy-dandy tools called a "Mat Pack" & "Paper Piercing Tool" that sits on my desk because I use it quite often to pierce holes for brads, buttons, threads and numerous other tasks. I always forget that I can add "Paper Piercing" to my projects. Today, my card exhibits the perfect opportunity for you to try "Paper Piercing":

This is a "Clean & Simple" card and just take a look at what the "Mat Pack & Paper Piercing Tool" added to the look of this card. The swirls in the sentiment are perfect for this technique. Here is a close-up:

And one additional step that I added to my card was tracing the dove image with my "Baja Breeze Stampin' Write Marker" after I had stamped it in "Rich Razzleberry Ink". What a difference this adds to the stamped image:

Card Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
  • Stamp Sets: My Friend
  • Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze Stampin' Write Marker
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mat Pack, Paper Piercing Tool
I hope you try this on your own. If you don't dare to pierce  holes on your own freehand, around something swirly, try using the paper piercing template that is included with your "Mat Pack" in a straight line first. Practice, practice, practice!
