Big Shot Club Month #1!

Last month was our first meeting for my Big Shot Club. We had a lot of fun. This club is going to last 5 months and I am trying to utilize as many dies as possible. For this first night, we used 6 different dies. I had the girls create 2 cards and 1 3-D project:


I showed them how you can use the Scallop Square Die and the Circle Scallop Die to create folded cards.

The first card:


By placing the fold of your card inside the scalloped area, the fold stays intact. We also used the 3" Circle Die, the 3 1/2" Circle Die and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die.

2nd Card:


This card is cut the same way but has a cute little surprise attached to it. Notice the cute little bookmark "hanging" at the top of the card? The recipient removes the bookmark for personal use and underneath the bookmark is the remainder of the card:


This card was created the same way except we used the Scallop Square Die. The bookmark is made with the Two Tags Die:

As you can see, we even added two magnets on the inside so that the bookmark stays in place when inserted between a page in your book:
