Tinted Glimmer Paper & Tutorial!

You read correctly......tint your own "Glimmer Paper". If you look closely at my card below, you can even click on the photo to enlarge it, you will notice I tinted my ornaments with Tempting Turquoise & Melon Mambo Inks:


Start out using 2 drops of each re-inker. I used a painter's palette for mine but you can use any container. You will also need an Aqua Painter and I used the Ornament Punch with my Glimmer Paper:


Squeeze a few drops of water from your Aqua Painter:


Pick up the color with your Aqua and start "painting" your Glimmer Paper:


Using a Heat Tool and tweezers, dry the ink and this is what your "tinted" Glimmer Paper will look like:


Isn't that just the coolest thing! For the centers of my ornaments I used the Boho Blossoms Punch and Tempting Turquoise & Melon Mambo Cardstocks for the flower. I stamped the images from the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set with Crumb Cake Ink and cut out with the 3/4" Circle Punch:
